A Unified Communications Platform That Looks as Good as It Works, Built Frontend-First
Unifi needed a frontend to match its powerful communications product, uniting Cloud PBX, video, chat, and CRM integrations. Magentic AI built a clean, responsive experience that brings it all under one roof—designed to convert visitors into customers and turn daily users into strong advocates.
Project Team

Unifi's product is ambitious. A full-featured cloud PBX and unified communications system that lets businesses call, meet, and chat across any device, from anywhere, with integrations spanning Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Teams, Zendesk, WhatsApp, and more. The technology underneath was solid. The challenge was presenting it in a way that felt equally capable.
A platform this broad, serving businesses across industries and sizes, needs a frontend that works hard on multiple levels at once:
- Communicating complexity without overwhelming the visitor. Unifi's feature set is extensive. Enterprise telephony, business tools, admin and security controls, unified communications, video conferencing, team chat. A frontend that tries to show everything at once loses people. One that hides too much leaves them unconvinced.
- Serving multiple audience types from a single experience. IT decision makers, business owners, customer experience teams, and end users all land on the same platform with different questions and different thresholds for technical detail. The frontend had to work for all of them.
- Reflecting enterprise-grade trust and reliability. Unifi guarantees 99.99% uptime with 24/7 monitoring. Their client list includes established, recognisable businesses. The frontend needed to carry that credibility visually, not just claim it in copy.
- Converting interest into action. Free trials, consultation bookings, direct calls. The platform had clear conversion goals, and the frontend needed to support them at every scroll depth without feeling pushy or cluttered.
We built Unifi's frontend as a structured, conversion-aware experience that organises a complex product into something immediately legible and genuinely compelling.
Here is what the build covered:
- Product storytelling through layout. Rather than listing features, the frontend leads with outcomes: work from anywhere, connect your tech stack, all-inclusive communications. Features are organised into logical groupings that match how buyers actually think about the problem.
- Multi-device, responsive build throughout. Given that Unifi's own product runs across iOS, Android, desktop, and web, the frontend had to be equally consistent across every device and screen size. It is.
- Integration showcase. Unifi connects with a wide ecosystem including Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot, Oracle, Zendesk, Microsoft Teams, and WhatsApp. We built a visual integration layer that communicates the breadth of that ecosystem clearly and credibly.
- Trust architecture. Client testimonials, uptime guarantees, and the "trusted by leading companies" positioning are woven into the experience structurally, not bolted on as afterthoughts.
- Clear conversion pathways. Free trial sign-up, VOIP consultation booking for teams of five or more, and direct call-to-action options are present and accessible throughout, without disrupting the flow of the experience.
We worked closely with Unifi's team throughout the build, maintaining tight alignment with their brand standards and product positioning at every stage. The frontend was built modularly, allowing Unifi to extend and update individual sections as the product evolves without touching the broader architecture.
Key outcomes from the engagement:
- A frontend that matches the ambition of the product. Unifi's platform is enterprise-grade. The experience visitors have before they sign up now reflects that.
- Cleaner communication of a broad feature set. Complex capabilities across telephony, unified communications, video, and integrations are now presented in a way that informs without overwhelming.
- Stronger conversion architecture throughout. Trial sign-ups, consultation bookings, and direct contact options are surfaced naturally at the right moments across the page experience.
- A scalable, maintainable codebase handed off to Unifi's team, built to grow with the product rather than be rebuilt every time something changes.
