Skillbook Academy's enterprise agile training was outgrowing manual management. Magentic AI solved this by building Skillbook CMP, an all-in-one platform that automates the entire operation—from student enrollment and coach scheduling to payments, content access, and coach payouts.

Running a certified agile training business sounds straightforward until you look at everything that has to happen behind the scenes. Skillbook Academy was coordinating between two certifying bodies, a roster of independent coaches, and a steady stream of students enrolling across multiple courses and sessions simultaneously.
Every training cycle involved a cascade of manual tasks:
- Scheduling sessions around coach availability and certification requirements across SAFe and Scrum Alliance programmes.
- Manually enrolling students, sharing access credentials, and following up on payments.
- Sending reminders to coaches and students before each session.
- Distributing course materials after sessions were completed.
- Calculating and processing coach payouts based on session revenue, which required reconciling enrollment numbers, fees collected, and individual coach rates.
Without a purpose-built system, keeping all of this moving required coordination across multiple people and tools. Mistakes happened. Things slipped. And as Skillbook grew, the operational load grew with it in a way that was simply not sustainable.
We built Skillbook CMP as a single platform that handles every moving part of the training operation, so the Skillbook team can focus on growing the business rather than running it manually.
Here is what the platform covers:
- Coach onboarding and session creation. Certified coaches from SAFe and Scrum Alliance can register on the platform, set their own availability, and create and schedule their own training sessions. No back-and-forth coordination required.
- Student enrollment and payment collection. Students browse available sessions, enrol directly through the platform, and pay at the point of signup. The platform handles fee collection cleanly and connects enrollment confirmation to everything that follows.
- Automated access and reminders. Once enrolled, students and coaches receive automated access to their sessions. Reminders go out at the right intervals without anyone having to trigger them manually.
- Post-session content delivery. After a session wraps, course materials are automatically shared with enrolled students. No manual email, no follow-up chase.
- Automated coach payouts. The platform calculates each coach's earnings based on the sessions they ran and the revenue those sessions generated, and processes payouts automatically. What was previously a manual reconciliation exercise now runs entirely through the system.
We built the platform with three user types in mind simultaneously: students who needed a clean enrollment experience, coaches who needed control over their own schedules and session management, and the Skillbook admin team who needed visibility and control without doing everything manually.
Each layer was built, integrated, and tested together so that the automation chain worked end to end from day one: a student enrolls, access is granted, reminders go out, the session runs, materials are shared, the coach gets paid. One connected flow, no manual handoffs.
The outcomes for Skillbook Academy were significant:
- The operational workload that previously required a five-person team to manage is now handled almost entirely by the platform.
- Coaches have full autonomy over their scheduling and session setup, removing a major coordination bottleneck from the Skillbook team.
- Students get a seamless experience from discovery to post-session content without any manual intervention in between.
- Coach payouts, previously a time-consuming reconciliation task, now process automatically based on live session and revenue data.
